Tourmaline is another crystal "must-have" in that it is highly protective and absorbs negative energy. It is fantastic when one needs a bit of grounding and wants to feel safe and secure. You can hold a piece while meditating to bring yourself extra protection.

One of the best places to put tourmaline is an entryway to ward off bad vibes (think of it as your guard dog crystal) but you can place it in any room where you feel you need to protect your energy. Due to its energetically absorbent nature, make sure to cleanse this crystal more often with palo santo or other sacred smoke.
